Rate TV - Terms of Use

Welcome to RateTV, operated by Duppo Limited ("we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Use govern your use of the RateTV mobile application (the "App") and the services provided through it. By accessing or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

RateTV provides users with information sourced from The Movie Database (TMDB) API regarding IMDb scores of TV series and movies available on various platforms. The App allows users to search for and view detailed information about TV shows and movies, including but not limited to cast, crew, plot summaries, ratings, reviews, and recommendations based on genres and user preferences.

3. Use of TMDB API

Our App relies on The Movie Database (TMDB) API to provide accurate and updated information on TV series and movies. By using our App, you acknowledge and agree to comply with TMDB's terms of use and privacy policy. You understand that the information provided through the TMDB API is subject to TMDB's terms and may be updated or changed by TMDB without notice.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use the RateTV App and its services in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and these Terms of Use. You shall not engage in any conduct that could interfere with the functioning of the App, compromise its security, or disrupt other users' access to the App. Prohibited activities include but are not limited to:

• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the App or its related systems or networks.
• Using the App for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• Uploading or transmitting viruses or other malicious code that could harm the App or its users.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The content provided through the RateTV App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is owned by Duppo Limited or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, modify, distribute, or display any portion of the App or its content without prior written consent from Duppo Limited.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

a. General Disclaimer: The RateTV App and its services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Any reliance you place on the App and its content is at your own risk.

b. Accuracy of Information: While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information through the RateTV App, we do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided. We cannot guarantee that the information displayed, including but not limited to IMDb scores, ratings, and reviews, is always current or correct.

c. Third-Party Services: We do not endorse or guarantee the availability, accuracy, or quality of content provided by third-party platforms or services accessed through the RateTV App. Your use of such third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms of use and privacy policies.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Duppo Limited, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses arising out of or in connection with your use of the RateTV App or its services. This includes damages resulting from:

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Duppo Limited and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the RateTV App, your violation of these Terms of Use, or your violation of any rights of another.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms of Use or your use of the RateTV App shall be exclusively resolved in the courts located in London, United Kingdom.

10. Modifications to Terms of Use

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms of Use on the RateTV App or by other means. Your continued use of the RateTV App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms of Use.

11. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms of Use is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms of Use shall otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable.
